HCC - a new Academy
Just a short note to say that from 1st September 2013 Haltwhistle Community Campus formally became an academy. Our thanks to parents, staff, governors and members of the wider community who have supported us in our journey to achieve this status which is reserved for schools recognised by the Department for Education as being good or outstanding.
Early Years results to be proud of!
Turn to our Early Years Prospectus section to compare our end of Reception assessment results with the Northumberland and National averages.
Admissions for 2014
As the new year commences we would like to remind parents and carers that we are now open to applications from new pupils for places in Reception and Year 5 from September 2014. We will also accept applications for pupils coming into Year 3 having completed Key Stage 1 (Infant Phase) off campus. Please contact Mrs Murray at the Upper School and Mrs Phillips at the Lower School for further information. An open evening was held on Wednesday, 9th October - if you missed it please contact the relevant school to arrange a visit on an alternative date. We also have space in our Nursery from January 2014 and parents should contact Miss Gregson to discuss a place.
